Setting up the Digital Learning Network

So, here we are! The Digital Learning Network has grown out of the eLearning Group for Museums, Libraries and Archives, and we’re really excited about the new direction things are taking.

You’ll see from the blurb at the beginning that the idea is to go back to basics and just get people talking about technology and learning in museums, archives and libraries. The reason being that there are so many people whose job involves some kind of educational/digital role, but who don’t have a network and really depend on colleagues and informal relationships to share information about new developments.

The Digital Learning Network arranges events, meetups (called ‘Think Drinks’) and really tries to encourage people to come together – whether it’s 3 people in a pub or 100 people at a conference.

Why not register, log in and let us know what you think and what you’re doing!

Looking forward to sharing thoughts and ideas both on here and in the meet-ups. Can we also have an area for people to flag other relevant events that they know are happening around the country?
