http://www.msichicago.org/fileadmin/Activities/Games/simple_machines/ I really liked this site – relevant for museums with science/engineering collections and really good at interpreting physics and maths principles

Hi everyone,
Could anybody give me some advice about using touchscreen technology? I will be commissioning some new technology for a museum. They are looking for a touchscreen computer which can be used by their visitors for accessing family history records, and information/images of artefacts. It will double up as a way for disabled visitors to access what is displayed on the second floor of the Museum.
I need to know costings, what sort of software would be needed, and whether this could be uploaded ”in house” by museum volunteers.
Any info or points in the right direction much appreciated.
Thanks. -
